Job Description

GK8, a Galaxy company, seeks a Director of Sales to generate leads, manage client relationships, and drive revenue in the Middle East and Africa. The role requires extensive experience in fintech, blockchain, and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline generation, qualification, enrichment, and execution
  • High activity level for prospecting (including calls, messaging across multiple platforms, and meetings)
  • Gathering prospect requirements and tailoring product positioning and demonstrations to fit needs
  • Develop, execute, and implement channel and partner strategy & programs with an emphasis on incremental revenue generation
  • Handling deals end to end (commercials, negotiation, procurement)
  • Identifying key customers’ feedback/requirements and reporting back to Product and Marketing
  • Represent at conferences, attend meetups, and contribute to overall brand and awareness
  • Working with local channel partners to facilitate deals

Requirements

  • At least 5-7 years of proven experience as a lead sales executive working for a technology company in the fintech sector, with a strong focus on driving revenue and managing key client relationships
  • A maverick – able to operate alone in a territory with remote support
  • Extensive experience in the Blockchain and Cybersecurity space is preferred
  • Tech-savvy, self-driven
  • Excellent written & oral communication in English. Other languages are a plus
  • Go-getter and doer – do not wait to be fed, pro-active
  • Capable of performing in an agile and flexible startup environment
  • Knowledge and experience in Blockchain technology
