About the Company

World is a network of real humans, built on privacy-preserving proof-of-personhood technology, and powered by a globally inclusive financial ecosystem. At the center of this effort are Orbs: biometric devices designed to verify uniqueness, and World ID: a secure, self-custodial identity layer. Together, they create the foundation for a more human internet—and for unlocking access to everything from social platforms to economic opportunity.

About the Team

The Market Operations team oversees the launch strategy and deployment of Worldcoin across all markets. This group drives user adoption by managing partnerships, business development, and distribution on the ground. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Operations, and Go-to-Market execution in Argentina and collaborates closely with cross functional teams, to ensure global and local alignment and operational excellence.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Own the end-to-end sales funnel for both merchant acquisition and retail development in Argentina, from sourcing, acquisition to activation.
  • Build and execute local go-to-market strategies that align with broader Market Ops and Argentina specific milestones
  • Leverage internal performance data and market insights to shape merchant targeting, incentive models, and campaign strategy.
  • Prioritize merchant verticals (e.g. convenience, retail, cafés) and test offer structures that drive both user verifications and long-term retention.
  • Team Leadership

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of field-based, performance-driven sales contractors.
  • Define training, targets, and incentive structures to motivate results across acquisition, activation, and quality benchmarks.
  • Foster a culture of resilience, transparency, and accountability across the org.
  • Partner & Stakeholder Management

  • Own key merchant relationships, especially anchor accounts and national chains.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Market Ops South Cone to deliver on shared goals and ensure integrated execution across sales, Orb deployment, and World network operations.
  • Serve as the commercial liaison with cross-functional teams—including Product, Device, Logistics, and the broader Market Ops—to localize processes and execution.
  • Operational Excellence

  • Track and report on KPIs including Orb installations, active merchant count, reward redemptions, location performance, and cost per Orb deployed.
  • Ensure compliance with local legal and policy standards for merchant onboarding and user rewards.
  • Design and implement scalable systems for merchant support, asset deployment, and deal performance monitoring.
  • Qualifications

  • You have 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial operations—preferably in tech or high-growth environments.
  • You bring a sales agenda, driving results in a short period of time leveraging your sales network
  • You’ve built and led high-performing sales teams, ideally including external contractors or field reps.
  • You have experience scaling distributed partner or merchant networks with clear funnel accountability.
  • You’re data-driven and strategic. You regularly use performance data, feedback loops, and local insight to fine-tune execution, optimize funnels, and influence broader go-to-market strategy.
  • You’re scrappy. You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and know how to get things done across dotted-line orgs.
  • You have strong cross-cultural competency and market fluency. You understand Argentine business norms, user behavior, and merchant dynamics, and you can navigate global-local collaboration with ease.
  • You are fluent in Spanish and English.
  • You are mission-aligned, with deep curiosity and belief in privacy-preserving identity and decentralized systems.
  • Nice to Have

  • Experience scaling a merchant network or channel partner ecosystem.
  • Experience in Web3, rewards/loyalty platforms, or identity systems.
  • Familiarity with Argentine consumer behavior, offline retail, or regulatory environments.
