Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience as a risk management professional in a regulated financial services environment
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global organization while maintaining close collaboration with cross functional teams across multiple locations
  • Proven ability to build industry-leading risk management frameworks including development of policies and procedures
  • Strong understanding and desire to build and grow in the crypto and blockchain environment keeping in mind regulations and emerging technologies
  • Prior work experience in a crypto exchange or Alternative Trading System (ATS) environment is a definite plus
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and writing skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a format suitable for diverse audiences
  • Proactive approach to teamwork, along with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Highly organized, capable of managing and navigating complex projects
  • Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management program to measure, monitor, and report on various risks, primarily on operational and technology risks
  • Prior experience in risk assessments, registers, regulation, BCP, RCSAs, etc
  • Create and manage policies and processes for identifying, evaluating, and controlling enterprise risks
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure that risk management methodologies and practices meet their expectations and needs
  • Address matters related to risk management from regulators and auditors, ensuring transparency and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Design and maintain global and local risk management metrics at a local, regional and global level
  • Develop risk management strategies in collaboration with Compliance peers and stakeholders across the globe
  • The candidate must also be open to working for other jurisdictions supporting local risk directors based in other regions such as EU and MENA
