As Dakota’s first Client Support Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client experience, ensuring that every business we onboard maximizes the value of our platform. You’ll lead onboarding calls, act as a trusted advisor, and serve as the primary liaison between clients and our internal teams. Your insights will help shape product development, and your proactive approach will drive engagement, retention, and satisfaction.


This role is ideal for a proactive and client-focused professional who combines deep expertise in global payment rails (SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, Fedwire) with exceptional interpersonal skills. Success in this position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities, ensuring clients receive high-touch service tailored to their needs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, crypto, banking, or brokerage industries
  • Deep knowledge of global payment rails (SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, Fedwire) and business banking needs
  • Experience working with startups, hedge funds, VCs, proprietary trading firms, and multinational corporations
  • Passion for client service, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple client touchpoints across different communication channels
  • Strong process development skills, with a keen eye for automation and operational efficiency
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making across teams
  • Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding calls with newly activated clients to understand their business banking needs and showcase the full capabilities of the Dakota platform
  • Ensure clients are fully aware of account plans, subscription details, and billing requirements
  • Proactively check in with clients, ensuring they are engaged, satisfied, and leveraging Dakota’s products effectively
  • Identify opportunities to deepen platform usage, including holding Dakota stablecoins and cross-selling additional services
  • Gather client feedback and relay insights to Product and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Deliver white-glove service, providing proactive, high-touch support across email, Telegram, and Slack
  • Act as a trusted advisor, anticipating client needs and addressing concerns with urgency
  • Monitor client transactions with downstream partners to ensure smooth processing
  • Prepare and share product updates, feature releases, and educational content to enhance client engagement
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Sales to align client expectations and operational requirements
  • Build and document scalable support workflows to drive efficiency and consistency
  • Develop a knowledge base with how-to guides and educational content on global payment rail capabilities
  • Implement a CRM system to track client interactions, ensuring seamless account management
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline responses and improve support efficiency
  • Work closely with Product & Engineering to ensure client needs are reflected in product development
  • Assist Operations in executing manual interventions when necessary for client transactions
  • Provide feedback to Compliance and Risk teams to improve internal processes
