As the first Data Analyst, you will generate insights informing decisions across departments. This role focuses on Business Intelligence, creating reports and visualizations for a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field like economics, computer science, statistics, or similar
  • 4+ years of hands-on work experience as a data analyst
  • Extensive experience in Business Intelligence, in particular in data visualization
  • Passionate about high-quality data visualizations that are easily accessible to non-experts and maintained with rigorous attention to detail
  • Extensive experience with SQL; knowledge of DBT is a plus.
  • Programming experience in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python)
  • Experience with BI tools like Metabase, Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI
  • Good understanding of business economics and financial concepts; prior experience working with economic or financial data a plus
  • High curiosity, strong autonomy, and a deep sense of ownership
  • Practically oriented and “getting-the-job-done” mindset
  • Thriving in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment; experience in start-ups is a plus

    • Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the business intelligence efforts of the Data Science team
  • Create data models, charts, dashboards, alerts and reports for all departments across the company
  • Collaborate closely with a high-performing team of data scientists, statisticians, economists and data engineers
  • Work with an exciting, massive dataset, including Product data (e.g., user in-app behavior, notifications, experiments), blockchain transactions, operations data, and customer support data.
