Leads engineering efforts for the AML team, ensuring scalability, reliability, and flexibility of platform projects. Mentors backend engineering teams and oversees communication with cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in an engineering leadership role in Compliance Technology teams
  • Proficiency in Java, JVM configuration, Spring Boot, and modern backend architectures
  • Experience writing AML systems and working with internal Compliance stakeholders
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in both English and Mandarin to collaborate effectively with global and cross-functional team members

    • Responsibilities

  • Own and develop technical schemes for platform projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and flexibility
  • Lead engineering efforts for the AML team on resourcing, project researching and development, troubleshooting problems, and ensure quality and timely completion
  • Facilitate cross-team communication and promote teamwork efficiency through code quality control and collaboration
  • Undertake team tasks and cultivate technical talents in the industry
  • Lead and mentor backend engineering teams to promote best practices and high-quality code delivery
  • Oversee communication and coordination with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Establish engineering excellence standards for code quality, observability, automation, security, and performance
