Lead the development of a new Solana-based product. Architect, develop, and secure smart contracts, ensuring seamless integration with backend and data engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with deep expertise in Rust and Solana smart contracts.
  • Proven ability to design and deploy production-grade Solana programs.
  • Experience influencing architectural decisions across multiple teams.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices, audits, and risk mitigation for smart contracts.
  • Experience working with backend and data engineering teams to deliver comprehensive blockchain solutions.
  • Track record of leading zero-to-one blockchain product development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a product-driven mindset.
  • Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and architecture of Solana smart contracts, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security.
  • Collaborate with Product to refine specifications and drive feasibility discussions.
  • Ensure security and audit readiness, implementing best practices to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Optimize smart contract performance, reducing compute unit costs and enhancing execution speed.
  • Work closely with backend and data engineering teams to integrate blockchain data into a full-stack solution.
  • Drive technical strategy, establishing best practices for Solana development.
  • Mentor and support other engineers in smart contract development, raising the technical bar and fostering a culture of best practices.
