Develop and maintain embedded software for Orb devices, focusing on biometric image capture, anti-fraud checks, and secure backend communication. Work closely with experts in embedded systems, security, and machine learning.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in systems programming, robotics, IoT devices, or related fields.
  • Exceptional coding skills shipping code to high volume production devices.
  • Extensive experience using Rust in real-world applications or strong C/C++ background.
  • Familiarity with GNU/Linux and device trees.
  • Experience building security-critical applications.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • A mission-driven and team-oriented mindset.

    • Responsibilities

  • Tackle tough challenges in Device Software organization (biometric image capture, advanced anti-fraud checks, secure backend communication).
  • Set the bar for excellence in Device Software team and influence other software engineers.
  • Manage multiple real-time sensor streams and integrate tightly with custom neural networks.
  • Work closely with experts in embedded systems, security, and machine learning.
