Requirements

Experience in high-level languages such as Rust and Golang.

Experience in building and scaling distributed systems.

Ability to knowledgeably discuss performance, security, and user interactions in complex software systems.

Experience building and operating a large-scale distributed system service.

Expertise in AWS.

Expertise in Kubernetes.

Experience with MongoDB is nice to have.

Familiarity with front-end web development, especially React, and a portfolio showcasing any front-end or full-stack projects you've created.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of larger pieces of work and lead them!

Create application and infrastructure components mainly in Rust.

Work with Terraform-provisioned AWS infrastructure and with services like S3, EKS, EC2, Route53, etc.

Own the full lifecycle of feature development from design through testing and release.

Participate in on-call rotation to provide application support, incident management and troubleshooting.
