Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of four years of experience in cash equities and equity options trading in a high touch environment

Strong understanding of equity markets, options trading strategies, and market microstructure

Proficiency in trading platforms and financial software

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a high-pressure environment

Series 7 and 63 licenses required

Responsibilities

Execute U.S.-listed equities, ETFs, and listed options orders on behalf of Galaxy’s institutional clients with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism

Contribute to the build-out and enhancement of Galaxy’s broker-dealer execution capabilities in U.S. listed markets, a new business line for the firm with a focus on the growing number of equities and ETFs with exposure to the crypto ecosystem

Utilize electronic trading platforms and tools to ensure timely and efficient execution

Engage and maintain strong communication with liquidity providers to access optimal pricing and liquidity

Ensure compliance with best execution standards and regulatory requirements across all trade flows

Collaborate closely with internal sales, operations, and compliance teams to deliver seamless client service

Monitor and respond to rapidly changing market conditions, providing timely insights and execution strategies

Adapt to new workflows and technologies in a fast-paced trading environment
