Requirements

Possess 5-8 years of well-rounded experience as a lawyer, with a distinct focus on financial regulation or regulatory affairs, and a strong, substantive understanding of blockchain technology and the crypto industry.

Qualified to practice in UAE. Demonstrate excellent drafting and communication abilities, with a proven track record of effectively conveying complex legal and technical concepts to non-legal audiences.

Familiar with financial products and relevant licensing and regulatory requirements.

Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, adeptly working both independently and as a collaborative team player.

Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to provide practical, solution-oriented legal advice on tech-related matters.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on regulatory and policy issues related to the crypto industry and blockchain technology.

Leverage knowledge to provide sound legal guidance and advice on tech-related financial regulation and crypto matters.

Carefully draft and meticulously review legal documents and agreements, with a focus on tech-related corporate, litigation, and regulatory matters.

Advise on ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing financial services, crypto, blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to offer legal guidance and advice on tech-related matters.

Represent the company in negotiations and interactions with regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders on tech-related topics.

Maintain awareness of legal and regulatory developments in the crypto industry and blockchain technology landscape.

Proactively share insights and recommendations with the legal team and key stakeholders.

Interact with regulators when necessary.
