Requirements

JD and active member of at least one state bar

5+ years of legal experience, with in-house experience at a financial services, fintech or crypto company preferred

Interest in digital assets, web3 and DeFi and a curiosity around new and innovative financial technologies

Experience with financial services and consumer protection regulations (State MTLs, Reg E, UDAP, ‘33 Act, ‘34 Act, CEA)

Excellent judgment and communications skills and the ability to translate legal advice into actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

Provide full product life-cycle counseling to teams developing innovative crypto-native payments products.

Ensure compliance with applicable global regulations and provide strategic advice to stakeholders.

Draft Terms of Service; draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial and partnership agreements.

Monitor legal and regulatory developments and consider their impact on Phantom
