Requirements

6+ years of experience (finance or development)

Deep knowledge of Digital Assets and DeFi

Degree in finance, computer science or other quantitative subjects

Experience in Python, SQL, and Excel

Good communication skills and is a critical thinker

Experience with financial data and processes

Prior experience in a market risk management or a risk taking role

Knowledge of market

Responsibilities

Collaborate with CRO and Risk managers to establish risk management framework for Galaxy's Trading businesses

Identify, measure, and manage financial and non-financial risks across Galaxy’s multiple business lines

Leverage on-chain information to enable data driven decision making and risk management

Build tools to extract information from DeFi protocols

Assist in the development and maintenance of systems to calculate risk metrics

Communicate with risk takers to assess positions and volatility

Produce risk reports for risk takers, risk managers, and senior management

Analyze, assess, visualize and report risks to CRO, and senior management

Monitor risks across multiple time zones
