Chainlink Labs seeks a passionate Community Manager to grow its New York ecosystem. Responsibilities include engaging with developers and users, organizing events, and amplifying community feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of work experience in community management, with at least 1 year of experience in Web3.
  • Strong event management experience for both online and in-person events.
  • An active social media user with proven experience managing online communities.
  • Proven experience translating community initiatives into business value.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and authentically.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience organizing developer focused events and programs.
  • Additional marketing experience in content marketing, social media management, and communications.
  • Current member of the Chainlink community or a member of other blockchain communities.
  • Strategic thinker who is able to implement programming for the various stages of the community journey (aware, casual, active, engaged, evangelized).
  • Able to work cross-collaboratively.
  • Self-starter with the ability to form and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a community strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for the United States with an emphasis on the local New York City community.
  • Organize engaging online and offline events (Happy hours, AMAs, meetups, hackathons etc..) to drive community growth and engagement for both technical and non-technical community members.
  • Cultivate and engage the online community on channels such as X, Telegram, Discord, and more.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on the success of community growth and engagement and identify areas for improvement.
  • Become immersed in the New York City blockchain community building relationships with key Web3, TradFi, and academic community partners.
  • Establish a strong personal brand as a thought leader in the Web3 space while identifying and nurturing relationships with Chainlink community advocates and influencers.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments (Marketing, Developer Relations, Partnerships) to create strategic and integrated community initiatives.
