Requirements

  • Used internal communications as a key method of evolving and building internal company culture
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated success in managing complex projects with opinionated stakeholders
  • Shown value in advising company executives on key issues
  • Been a trusted advisor to founders and C-Suite executives
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable seizing unexpected opportunities and managing change
  • Worked at a technology company that is experiencing rapid growth and change
  • Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Chief of Staff to the CEO and the entire executive team to transform business objectives and strategy into an internal communications strategy and program
  • Plan, build, and execute internal communications rituals to increase employee engagement and build a cross-company focus on our customers and their missions.
  • Manage multiple projects with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring that we’re communicating internally with one unified voice
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, particularly the People team, to communicate effectively with employees on important company and employee initiatives
  • Find and leverage opportunities to increase employee trust in company leadership
  • Advise leadership and help them execute on tactics that build a culture of accountability, urgency, and agility
  • Manage internal communications workflows and tactics in the event of a crisis
  • Advise leadership and help the leadership team execute on important change management initiatives
  • Partner with the Chief of Staff and Business Operations team to drive company adoption of OKRs and other accountability frameworks to increase our velocity of execution
  • Run a tight operation and focus on tactical execution to keep cross-functional stakeholders unified and updated on company strategy and actions
  • Create and implement change communication plans that enable the seamless transition to new platforms, systems, policies or ways of working
