Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading marketing strategy and execution for consumer-facing products.
  • 3+ years managing a globally distributed marketing team within the Crypto/Web3 domain.
  • Proven success in marketing leadership roles within cryptocurrency, blockchain, or fintech industries, with a track record of launching products and tokens effectively.
  • Prior experience with decentralized finance (DeFi) or financial technology companies.
  • Deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem, including Layer 1 networks, EVM-compatible blockchains, airdrop campaigns, staking mechanisms, and DeFi protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with airdrops or other Web3-specific marketing activities.
  • Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable business outcomes through marketing efforts.
  • Strong expertise in user research and market analysis.
  • Proven experience in community building within open-source blockchain ecosystems, leveraging influencers and key industry stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Responsibilities

  • Partner with the leadership team to design and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives ecosystem growth through community engagement, content creation, event management, and strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee global public relations and event operations, including coordination with agencies, channel management, collaboration with key opinion leaders (KOLs), budget oversight, and prioritization of industry alliances.
  • Engage actively with the broader cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem, with a focus on Layer 1 (L1) blockchains, Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible networks, token distribution mechanisms (e.g., airdrops), staking protocols, and decentralized finance (DeFi) initiatives.
  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with influential industry players, thought leaders, and media outlets to amplify the company's market presence.
  • Foster a thriving community by identifying and empowering advocates and ambassadors within the crypto and Web3 spheres.
  • Develop and execute tailored communication strategies across multiple channels, including in-product messaging, website content, social media, launch campaigns, email marketing, and educational resources.
  • Analyze growth initiatives and user journeys to identify opportunities for product enhancement, user activation, and ecosystem expansion.
  • Leverage data analytics, competitive insights, and market trends to refine marketing efforts and optimize performance.
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team to execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns that promote the company's products and services.
  • Create programs and initiatives that enable developers, institutions, and retail users to discover value and actively participate in the company's ecosystem.
