Design and implement comprehensive workplace safety programs that address traditional occupational hazards and unique challenges of a data facility while monitoring for compliance.Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes.Collaborate with management to update an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management. Maintain a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence.Recommend procedures for detection, prevention, and elimination of physical, chemical, or other hazards.Monitor environmental conditions including air quality, temperature, humidity, and noise levels to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Serve as primary point of contact for all safety related matters, attend safety meetings, and develop and maintain relationships with local emergency response agencies.Compile and provide regular safety performance reports to senior management.Write and revise safety protocols at the organizational level.Perform regular safety inspections of all facility areas, including server rooms, office spaces, and common areas to ensure compliance with safety protocols and standardsParticipate in team meetings and provide regular on-site project presence.
