Job Description

This role is essential to creating a productive and welcoming environment for the team and visitors in the new Bucharest office. Responsibilities include managing office operations, planning company events, and ensuring a smooth and efficient office workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Work with external vendors and contractors to maintain and enhance the office layout and functionality, including support IT on troubleshooting tech equipment when needed.
  • Prepare the office for each workday, ensuring it’s ready to support a productive and organized environment.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager, Team Experience team and Site Leadership to plan and execute company events, such as celebrations, team lunches, and holiday gatherings.
  • Manage office operations and inventory, including supplies, snacks, appliances, and electronics, while coordinating with building management and tech support.
  • Provide a warm and professional experience for all visitors, including clients, candidates, and other guests.
  • Work with the Site Leadership team and HR to develop and implement office procedures, policies, and systems that ensure an inclusive, compliant, and efficient workplace.
  • Support the Site Leadership team with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a dynamic office environment; bonus points for experience in startups
  • Familiarity with digital office tools, such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, Slack, Notion and Zoom
  • English language proficiency is required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively across diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, self-manage responsibilities, and follow through on commitments.
  • A passion for creating an organized, welcoming, and inclusive workplace.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, as part of a team.
  • A positive, resourceful attitude, with strong judgment and problem-solving abilities.
  • Interest in blockchain technologies is a plus, though not required.
