Drive operational excellence and strategic decision-making across the People team. This role involves data analysis, optimizing HR systems, and partnering cross-functionally to scale people programs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in People Operations, HR & Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Deep expertise in HR systems (e.g., Ashby, HiBob, Gusto) and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Notion).
  • Proven ability to manage complex datasets and deliver actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and data privacy regulations.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • You are either based in Munich or San Francisco (or willing to relocate).
  • You are comfortable with being in the office 5 times a week.
  • Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain advanced dashboards and reporting frameworks to track key HR metrics (e.g., headcount, attrition, engagement, compensation trends).
  • Lead data analysis for strategic people initiatives and executive decision-making.
  • Own and enhance core People processes and systems, including HRIS, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, and policy implementation.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations and implement scalable solutions that improve the employee experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, IT, and Payroll to ensure seamless data integration and alignment.
  • Manage regular audits of people data for accuracy, compliance, and data hygiene.
  • Support compensation cycle operations, performance review cycles, and benefits administration with high precision.
  • Document and continuously improve workflows and operational standards.
  • Act as a strategic advisor on data best practices and tooling.
