Manage the day-to-day administration of Chainalysis’s global equity plans, including grants, vestings, option exercises, and more. Coordinate with Legal, People, Finance and Payroll departments to ensure accurate and timely information.

Requirements

  • Experience managing share plans for private companies.
  • Experience managing US tax-qualified plans (ISOs) and Israeli tax-qualified plans.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of cross-functional teams.
  • Sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple activities.
  • Responsibilities

  • Maintain the equity register, cap table, and plan reserve, ensuring all equity plan transactions are properly processed and reflected in the equity administration platform (Carta).
  • Prepare grant lists and other equity plan materials required for Board approval.
  • Provide audit support for quarterly reviews and year-end audits, as well as ensure internal controls and procedures are operating efficiently.
  • Manage the securities and tax compliance of Chainalysis’s equity programs globally, including tax-qualified equity granting practices in the United States and Israel.
  • Maintain regular communication with HR Business Partners and Recruiters regarding equity programs, resolving questions, issues, and concerns.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting or projects for management, executives, investors and the Board of Directors.
  • Support employee education sessions in partnership with tax advisors and brokers/equity administration vendors.
  • Respond to employee equity-related questions and develop a central repository of questions and answers for employee self-service as it relates to the equity plan.
  • Prepare annual reporting forms required by the IRS and other tax jurisdictions as needed.
  • Partner with Legal and Finance teams on vendor relationship management with Carta, IBI Trust, and other service providers.
