Responsibilities

Lead the design of BNDS (Binance Design System): Iterate on the foundational framework and core components, optimize relevant state logic, and ensure compatibility with multiple platforms and real business scenario requirements.

Build and maintain the BNDS documentation system and asset library: Include component usage rules, interaction specifications, and explanations of related Design Tokens. Ensure efficient reuse by business designers and R&D teams to reduce cross-team collaboration costs.

Deeply adapt design solutions to business scenarios: Address user pain points through designs for microinteractions and other related motion effects, enhancing user trust, operational fluency, and overall user experience.

Drive design implementation through cross-functional collaboration: Align with frontend/architecture engineers on technical implementation plans for components, resolving detailed issues in the "design-development" handoff (e.g., component responsive logic, state switching compatibility). Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure BNDS aligns with Binance’s global brand visual language while meeting regional compliance requirements (e.g., multi-language typography, RTL (Right-to-Left) layouts).

Empower designers across the company: Convey BNDS design thinking and usage standards through design training, workshops, and case studies. Collect feedback from designers in various business lines, and iterate on BNDS using data (e.g., component adoption rates, user experience research results) to improve the system’s practicality and coverage.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in design systems: Must have cases of building a product-level design system from scratch or optimizing an existing one. Familiar with multi-platform design guidelines (Apple HIG, Google Material Design) and capable of independently managing the full process of component design from concept to implementation.

Proficiency in Figma: Skilled in using Components, Variables, Auto Layout, and Variants. Ability to build component libraries that support reuse across multiple scenarios.

Understanding of Web3/blockchain product design: Comprehend trading workflows, relevant business operation logic, and wallet interaction rules. Ability to translate blockchain business logic into clear design solutions.

Attention to user experience details: Familiar with accessibility design standards (e.g., WCAG 2.2). Consider the needs of diverse users (e.g., screen reader adaptation for visually impaired users) in component design, while balancing the security and usability of financial products.

Systems thinking: Ability to move beyond "one-off design" to focus on "global reusability," with consideration for component scalability and compatibility.

Cross-team communication skills: Ability to clearly align goals with designers, R&D, product, and marketing teams. Convey design logic in concise language and drive consensus.

Attention to detail and execution ability: Maintain strict standards for design precision and interaction logic details. Deliver high-quality design system results on time in the fast-paced blockchain industry.

Learning agility: Proactively track Web3 design trends and industry practices for design systems, and quickly integrate new insights into BNDS optimization.

Design experience/case studies in relevant businesses such as crypto exchanges/platforms or blockchain wallets. Understanding of the blockchain ecosystem and ability to directly grasp core business scenarios.

Experience in building design systems.

Fluency in English is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders. Additional languages would be an advantage.

Experience collaborating with remote/distributed teams (adaptive to a global work model).

Mastery of fundamental HTML/CSS/JavaScript syntax.

Ability to communicate efficiently with frontend engineers on component implementation details to prevent design solutions from being unfeasible due to technical constraints.
