Job Description
OKX is seeking a Product Director to lead the strategy and planning of its institutional products, including trading systems, custody integrations, and APIs. This role requires strong data analysis skills and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a clear product strategy, focusing on creating innovative and market-leading offerings in the crypto derivatives space.
- Oversee the entire product development process—conceptualizing, defining requirements, prototyping, through to development and launch.
- Leverage advanced data analysis tools, including SQL and Python, to analyze large datasets, gain insights, and inform product design, features, and user experience improvements.
- Lead and collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product development is aligned with business strategy and executed efficiently.
- Craft and implement go-to-market strategies to ensure successful product introduction and adoption. Collaborate with marketing to define product positioning and target customer segments, managing scaling efforts to expand product reach.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of work experience, with 4-6 years experience in product management, with a significant focus on product development in the crypto, DeFi, or traditional financial sectors.
- Proficiency in using SQL and Python for data analysis is required. Experience in analyzing large datasets to drive product decisions, identify trends, and evaluate product performance.
- Demonstrated ability to develop products that meet market needs and exceed user expectations, with a track record of market disruption.
- Deep understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and financial markets, complemented by technical knowledge to drive the development of complex and competitive products.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills are essential for internal collaboration and external stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications in data analysis, product management, or related disciplines are highly valued.
