Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager with a specialized focus on derivatives to drive product initiatives from inception through to execution. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a vision to architect, manage and grow an industry-changing platform. You will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, and other cross-functional team members to ship remarkable features and products across our global footprint.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the team’s roadmap, milestones, and dependencies with strategic priorities in mind
- Define product requirements, write test plans with QA and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship derivative products/features promptly
- Facilitate user studies, interview and interact with customers to build empathy, ensuring that their needs are met and continuously iterate on their feedback
- Perform market research and analysis to identify opportunities and deepen the understanding of the competitive landscape within the derivatives market
- Utilize data analytics and user insights to make data-driven decisions about product feature prioritization and to inform and build a product strategy, weighing tradeoffs that must be made
- Ensure derivatives products comply with regulatory requirements and risk management standards by working closely with legal and compliance teams
- Manage the backlog and specific features within the derivatives product line
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in product management within the financial services industry, with a focus on derivatives products.
- Strong domain knowledge in various investment asset classes and derivatives instruments such as options, futures, and swaps, as well as their applications in financial markets.
- Experience shipping and iterating on successful Software or Financial products at scale.
- Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, taking initiative and producing results.
- A data-informed work style, viewed through a compassionate lens of the user.
- A passion for building delightful customer-facing products and experiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product management tools.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management principles related to derivatives trading.
- Bring humility to your work and how you work with others.
- Willing to relocate to Hong Kong
