Galaxy Digital Research seeks a policy researcher to analyze digital asset policy, legislation, and regulatory developments. The role involves generating research for policymakers, regulators, and investors.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience working in financial services policy
  • Strong, existing knowledge of digital assets ecosystem and policy issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience
  • Capability to self-direct and drive projects with minimal supervision, effectively managing time and resources to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes
  • Responsibilities

  • Analyze major policy issues affecting the digital assets ecosystem, including legislative efforts, regulatory matters, government policy priorities, and international policy issues.
  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret regulatory, legislative, and policy developments at the U.S. Federal and State levels; assess their impact to Galaxy, and assist in developing rapid responses to such policy proposals.
  • Identify opportunities to influence legislation, monitor for government vendor opportunities (RFPs)
  • Contribute to Galaxy Research’s ongoing coverage of regulatory policy in the form of written reports, client notes, and briefings for policymakers and Galaxy executives.
  • Work as a member of both the Galaxy Research and Galaxy Policy teams, serving as both a conduit and contributor between and to both teams.
  • Develop and nurture relationships and partnerships with industry stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue research topics independently and/or as part of an assigned effort
  • Serve as a thought leader on various crypto topics and consult with internal and external clients
